School Improvement
An improvement model based on Empowerment enables experts across the Trust to achieve the ambition set out in the CLF’s HEART purpose and Mission. Set against high standards, and a deep investment in leadership and collaboration, our experts are empowered to teach and support children to feel and be successful. The depth of ownership across the Trust inspires colleagues to deliver for our children and communities. The 3-19 curriculum is joy-filled and evolved by experts, supporting children to feel the pleasure of learning so that they grow as individuals. The inter-play of pedagogy with assessment and curriculum is a relentless focus for collaboration and development across the Trust. It is what we do.
Infrastructure
Our Trust is built to grow, and we are aiming for full capacity in our academies to maximise resources to the front line of education delivery. We are also structured to enable schools to join our Trust. We define and deliver uncompromising standards that keep people safe and support pupils’ excellent experiences at school. We also foster innovation where it drives positive change, underpinning a culture of continuous improvement in pursuit of ever higher standards. Our work as leaders means we are recognised nationally for sector-leading practices and outcomes, and our Trust collaborates and influences to deliver positive impact in the local, regional and national landscape.
People
We attract and retain exceptional talent at all levels and our resources ensure all our colleagues work diligently and purposefully to deliver an excellent experience for pupils, parents/carers and their peers. Our culture of team working takes advantage of our multiple strengths, and fosters great creativity in a learning environment that encourages diverse and measured risk taking. Our CLF pupils and employees are diverse, positive, dynamic and have a can-do attitude. They are morally aligned, contemporary and focussed. The culture and ethos in all Academies is aligned to their local community and surrounding environment. Diversity is celebrated amongst pupils and colleagues across the organisation. Learning is at the heart of the CLF and underpins the organisation’s commitment and approach to training for all. Staff and volunteers working for the CLF commit to training in order to continue to provide the best possible education for pupils.
