Each of these schools provides educators with an opportunity to prepare young people to have a positive impact on their community and the wider world. The trust is dedicated to playing a leading role in the future of education in South Gloucestershire by providing transformative experiences that empower students to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Life in South Gloucestershire

Sandwiched between the vibrant city of Bristol and a picturesque countryside region that includes the Forest of Dean and the Cotswolds, South Gloucestershire is the perfect place to call home.

Whether you enjoy city living, small town life or a more rural home, this is a region rich in choice – and packed full of lifestyle benefits too. Quality of life and life expectancy both score highly for the area’s inhabitants.

Cribbs Causeway is one of the region’s largest shopping and leisure complexes, but there are dozens of market towns full of artisan shops and eateries too. And being within easy reach of Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and Cheltenham opens the door to a near-endless array of music, theatre, sport and artistic events and destinations.

Close proximity to a number of high-class universities also means there are plenty of progression routes for children studying in the area’s schools.

High employment rates, and a varied economy – ranging from agriculture and conservation to industrial powerhouses like Airbus and Rolls Royce, as well as the Ministry of Defence – make South Gloucestershire a region rich in opportunity.

Any educators considering their next step would be well advised to look at South Gloucestershire as an option which combines a high quality of life and a pathway to a successful and rewarding career.
