Goverment Announcement – Plans to Rebuild and for Recovery
While I know that you have had contact from colleagues in your child’s own academy over recent weeks, I felt it was an appropriate time to offer you an update. You may have seen that on 11 May 2020 the Government announced the next stage in their plans to rebuild and for recovery. This includes some guidance for schools, and you will naturally be keen to find out what this will mean for your academy and ultimately your child.
School Closures Across England
As you may be aware already, the UK government has chosen to close schools in England from Monday 23rd March until further notice. The government has been very clear that “every child who can be safely cared for at home should be.”
Our Aims as a Federation
As we see significant changes to daily life in Britain and the reality of school closure takes hold, I wanted to write to you on behalf of the Cabot Learning Federation (CLF), the multi- academy trust of which your child’s school is a part.
