Georgina Gough is Professor of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) at UWE Bristol. She is a recognised expert in academic leadership of ESD across the higher education sector. Georgina is passionate about the role which education can play in creating a more environmentally sustainable and equitable society.
Georgina believes firmly that collaboration and partnership are critical in the pursuit of sustainability objectives. She holds roles with several national and international educational organisations and initiatives. Georgina is programme leader for UWE Bristol’s MSc Sustainable Development in Practice and sits on UWE’s Academic Board and Board of Governors.
As a local resident for thirty years, Georgina is also proud to support the Bristol region through work with Bristol City and South Gloucestershire Councils and many local sustainability organisations and initiatives with educational missions.
