Tim has previously been the chair of a Bristol based academy, a trustee of a mid-size multi academy trust and a chair in the family magistracy. His priorities in education are the ‘care and welfare of the child’ and to ‘optimise the potential of every child’. He is also a Local Leader in Governance and has advised on school turnaround situations. His business career has been in financial and corporate public relations working with some of the largest and mid-sized companies in the UK, advising at senior leadership levels.
In education, and in addition to his board role with CLF, he mentors students at the University of Bath – both at MBA level and those from disadvantaged backgrounds on scholarships. He also provides presentation coaching to both university executives and students.
