Zarah is an Employment Law Solicitor with over 20 years’ experience working for various law firms and private businesses via her own Legal Consultancy firm advising clients on all aspects of employment law. She currently works for Avon & Somerset Police (ASP) as an in-house Lawyer. At ASP she has been appointed as a Race Matters Influencer where she is able to represent ethnic minority groups and help build bridges. Zarah has also worked as a part time Law Lecturer at her local university for a number of years. She has served as a Community Governor at a secondary school in Buckinghamshire. She has also been a voluntary member of an Independent Advisory Group acting as a link between the community and the local police. Zarah takes a keen interest in utilising all her skills and experience to try and help others and make a positive impact. Zarah and her husband Ray moved to South Gloucestershire in 2021 with their young daughter.
