Musicians and singers from across the Cabot Learning Federation (CLF) converged on City Academy for the annual rock event that is the CLF Battle of the Bands.
With 12 acts from seven CLF academies, competition was extremely fierce. Performing in front of a capacity audience, the musicianship and singing throughout the event were extremely high.
Numerous prizes were up for grabs throughout the evening for outstanding musicianship. However, after a long deliberation from the judges, the top three were as follows:
1st Place – The Purps, BBA
2nd Place – Stealing Society, JCA
3rd Place – Ramatouli Laye and Jess Clarkson, CAB
Louise Caplin, teacher of music at CAB, said: “The level of talent and dedication we witnessed tonight was truly inspiring. Each act brought their unique style and energy to the stage, making it an unforgettable evening.
“Congratulations to all the performers for their hard work and passion.”
