
Congratulations to students across the Cabot Learning Federation (CLF) who are celebrating an impressive set of post-16 results, with strong outcomes across academic, vocational and creative courses and a wide range of university, apprenticeship and employment destinations.
At The SPACE, based at Monkton Wood Academy in Taunton, students achieved exceptional results in the Level 3 University Arts London Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts. 100% passed, 98% achieved a Merit or higher and 72% achieved a Distinction, equivalent to three As at A-level. In the Extended Project Qualification, 100% achieved a B or higher, with 88% achieving an A or higher and 65% achieving an A.
Students are progressing to leading drama schools and universities, including Italia Conti, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, LAMDA, Chichester and Bath Spa, across courses including musical theatre, acting, dance, production, filmmaking and fashion.
At CLF Post 16, students also achieved strong A-level and vocational results, with 70% of vocational students achieving grades from Distinction* to Merit. Students, including those with SEN, have secured places at top universities and competitive apprenticeships, with destinations including Bristol and Cardiff universities.
At Tewkesbury Academy, 40% of A-level grades were awarded at A*-B, while 15% were A*-A and almost 60% were A*-C. Students have secured a diverse range of destinations, including university courses in cyber security, sports journalism, interior design, business, finance and criminology, alongside high-quality degree apprenticeships.
Winterstoke Hundred Academy is also celebrating the achievements of its Year 13 cohort, with an increased number of A and A* grades across academic and vocational pathways. Students have secured places on competitive university courses, degree apprenticeships, industry placements, employment and further training.
