Weekly cricket sessions will be delivered to pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy after the school launched a new partnership with South Gloucestershire Cricket.
Children have already had a fantastic time learning new skills, keeping active, and experiencing the teamwork and energy that cricket brings. With bats swinging and smiles shining, pupils are looking forward to a brilliant season ahead.
This initiative not only encourages physical activity but also promotes values such as teamwork, resilience, and fair play – skills that extend well beyond the pitch.
School leaders offered a huge thanks to South Gloucestershire Cricket for helping bring the game to life for young learners.
A spokesperson for Evergreen Primary Academy said: “We are delighted to be working with South Gloucestershire Cricket to give our pupils the opportunity to discover and enjoy this brilliant sport.
“The sessions have been full of energy, teamwork and fun, and it has been wonderful to see the children grow in confidence while learning new skills.”
