Evergreen Academy pupils were fortunate to take part in an exciting cricket session with Chance to Shine, a national charity that uses cricket to give children and young people the opportunity to play, learn and develop important life skills.
The Evergreen children did brilliantly throughout the session. They listened respectfully, joined in enthusiastically and showed great teamwork and determination.
Leaders saw some brilliant batting and fielding, with pupils developing their cricket skills while having lots of fun.
A spokesperson for the academy said: “It was fantastic to see our pupils getting involved so enthusiastically. The session provided a wonderful opportunity for them to develop their cricket skills, build confidence and learn the importance of teamwork and respect.
“We are very grateful to Chance to Shine for giving our pupils such a positive and memorable experience.”
