A group of Year 9 students from Hans Price Academy recently participated in an exhilarating residential trip to Outward Bound in Aberdovey, Wales.
Located on the stunning coast within Snowdonia National Park, Aberdovey provided the perfect backdrop for an action-packed week of outdoor learning and adventure.
Throughout the trip, students engaged in a variety of challenging activities designed to build resilience, encourage teamwork, and develop new skills.
They took to the water in canoes, navigated beach-based water challenges, and embarked on exciting mountain expeditions, hiking through breathtaking landscapes.
The experience pushed students beyond their comfort zones, helping them to overcome obstacles, develop confidence, and work collaboratively with their peers. From braving the elements to tackling physical and mental challenges, each student embraced the spirit of adventure.
A spokesperson said: “Hans Price Academy is proud to provide opportunities like this, where students can grow both personally and academically.
“The trip to Outward Bound was a resounding success, and students returned home with unforgettable memories and newfound confidence.”
