Hans Price Academy is very proud to celebrate the incredible achievement of its students who represented the South West at the Touch Rugby Nationals, held at the Nottingham Riverside Sports Complex.
Touch rugby is a fast-growing, non-contact, mixed sport that draws on elements of rugby union and league, focusing on skill, fitness, and teamwork rather than physicality.
On what was an extremely competitive day, students from every year group at Hans Price Academy showed fantastic determination and skill:
Steve Holland, Assistant Principal and teacher of physical education at Hans Price Academy, said: “We are immensely proud of our students for their commitment, skill, and passion for touch rugby.
“To have representatives from every year group competing at a national level is an outstanding achievement.
“They are fantastic role models for our academy community and a testament to the hard work they put into their sport.”
