Herons’ Moor Academy was buzzing with excitement as pupils were treated to a captivating performance by the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
The talented cast delighted pupils with their enchanting rendition of Jack Frost, written and directed by Liz Felton.
The festive production transported pupils to the snow-covered Leigh Woods, where the wintry world of Jack Frost unfolded.
As the frost built up, the story explored whether winter might last forever, featuring a mix of music, mischief, puppetry, and song. The performance had the young audience transfixed, sparking wonder and laughter throughout.
The magic didn’t end with the show. Afterward, pupils participated in a lively, interactive workshop led by Bristol Old Vic students.
This hands-on session gave them a taste of theatre-making and left them inspired and engaged.
Georgie Tinker, Principal of Herons’ Moor Academy said: “The buzz on the playground after it was wonderful! I would like to thank the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and actors for taking the time to put on this fantastic production for us.
“This unforgettable experience brought festive joy to the school and introduced pupils to the magic of live theatre.
