Herons’ Moor celebrates record-breaking results

Herons’ Moor Academy (HMA) is celebrating a landmark year after pupils achieved the highest outcomes in the school history across all statutory assessment stages, marking a significant milestone for the school community.

Principal Georgie Tinker and her dedicated team have expressed their delight and pride following their latest results, which demonstrate exceptional progress and achievement across the primary age range.

Since taking up the role of Principal two years ago, Mrs Tinker has led a determined drive to raise standards, strengthen teaching and learning, and ensure that every child is given the opportunity to succeed.

The increase in results reflect the school’s unwavering commitment to high expectations, inclusion and academic excellence, with pupils performing better than ever before at HMA.

Speaking about the achievement, Mrs Tinker said: “At every statutory assessment stage across the primary age range, our children have performed better than ever before at HMA. This is down to the hard work and commitment of the team to ensure high expectations for all children.”

She added: “The results are a testament not only to the dedication of staff, but also to the resilience and determination shown by pupils throughout the year.

“The school’s success has been driven by a collective effort from teachers, support staff, parents and pupils, all working together to create an environment where children can thrive both academically and personally.

“The school’s journey over the past two years has been centred on raising aspirations and creating opportunities for every pupil to excel.

“We are incredibly proud of what our children have accomplished. These results show what can be achieved when a talented and committed team works together with a shared belief that every child can succeed.”

Staff have been praised for their relentless focus on ensuring every child receives the support and challenge they need to reach their full potential. This approach has helped to foster a culture in which achievement is celebrated, and success is accessible to all.
