Pupils at Evergreen Primary Academy were treated to some very special visitors – police horses!
Police personnel spent time with pupils, explaining their important roles in the community, how the horses are cared for, and the vital part they play in keeping us all safe.
The session offered a unique and engaging opportunity for pupils to learn more about the police force and the animals that help support their work.
The school’s local PCSO (Police Community Support Officer) helped make the day even more memorable. Not only did Evergreen’s Mini Police take part in the experience, but the entire school had the chance to meet the magnificent horses up close.
A spokesperson for Evergreen Primary Academy said: “It was a fantastic experience for our pupils.
“The visit not only brought smiles to faces but also deepened our children’s understanding of community roles and animal welfare.
“We’re incredibly grateful to our local police team for making this visit possible.”
