Year 5 pupils from Waycroft Academy recently enjoyed an inspiring and educational visit to the STEAM Museum in Swindon.
The trip offered a unique opportunity to delve into the history of World War II, focusing on life during the Blitz and the experiences of evacuee children.
Throughout the day, pupils participated in hands-on activities and interactive exhibits that brought this historical period to life.
They engaged enthusiastically, asked thoughtful questions, and showed a keen interest in deepening their understanding of the past.
Teachers and staff accompanying the group were impressed by the pupil’s exceptional behaviour, impeccable manners, and curiosity.
