Year 5 and Year 6 pupils at Redstart Primary School, along with their families, spent their evenings learning about the stars as part of the school’s highly-anticipated stargazing week.
With clear winter skies providing the perfect backdrop, everyone who took part enjoyed an unforgettable experience exploring the wonders of the night sky.
Children and parents alike were thrilled by the event, which offered a unique opportunity to learn about astronomy in a hands-on and engaging way.
A spokesperson for the school said: “Many thanks to the kind members of the Crewkerne and District Astronomical Society who joined us to share their expertise.
“Their generosity allowed us to witness breathtaking views of Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, and Mars – all in one night!”
