Year 1 pupils at Waycroft Academy concluded their religious education (RE) lessons with an exciting and immersive exploration of Judaism.
As part of their learning, pupils engaged with a variety of Jewish artefacts to deepen their understanding of the religion.
Pupils used books and fact sheets and even had the unique opportunity to examine a real Torah scroll.
Adding to the experience, they were also able to try on traditional clothing typically worn in a synagogue.
A spokesperson for the school said: “It was a wonderful way to bring learning to life. Pupils were highly engaged and showed great curiosity and respect while exploring the Jewish faith.
“We’re proud of how they embraced this opportunity to learn about different cultures and beliefs.”
