Winterstoke Hundred Academy was delighted to welcome Ambassador Miguel Berger from the German Embassy as part of the German Embassy Languages Week and the #ShoutOutForGerman campaign.
This initiative, organised by the German Embassy in London, the Goethe-Institut UK, and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), provided a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the significance of language learning within the school community.
During his visit, Ambassador Berger delivered an inspiring assembly to students, emphasising the value of language acquisition, cultural exchange, and shared insights into the role of an ambassador.
His engaging talk motivated students to appreciate the opportunities that learning a language can provide.
