Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras could be introduced outside King’s Oak Academy as part of plans to further enforce road closures during school pick-up and drop-off times.
The proposed measures form part of a School Streets scheme, which restricts vehicles from driving on roads outside schools at the beginning and end of the school day. King’s Oak Academy are in consultation to gather views on whether the scheme could help improve student safety during these particularly busy times.
