All Academies that are part of the Cabot Learning Federation are open only for those pupils with one parent (or more) who is a Critical Worker and for vulnerable pupils from 5 January 2021 to 21 February 2021. Your academy will have been in contact with you directly with regard to these groups. Pupils invited to attend should not come to site if they, or someone in the household, have symptoms / test positive. Please contact your academy to report the absence.
We are continuing to follow the Government’s guidance and our Health & Safety experts are working to regularly risk assess Academy sites and monitor the control measures that we have in place to minimise the risk of spread of infection.
Our priorities remain the safety of everyone in our communities and continuity of education for all our pupils. All pupils will be provided with remote learning that follows the normal curriculum. Full details for accessing the learning will have been shared by your academy. Please contact them if you need support with IT or have any other questions.
If there is any change to local arrangements your Academy will contact you directly.
We must stress that if your child shows any of the common symptoms of coronavirus (high temperature (fever), a new continuous cough, loss of smell/taste) they must not come to school. If anyone in your household has any of these symptoms, your child must not come to school. Anyone showing symptoms can and should get a test to confirm whether or not they have Covid-19. You must report a positive test result to your child’s school.
